Trinity Playdates — A Place for Parents and Littles to Connect

School drop-off happens. The kids head inside. And then…what if you stayed for coffee?

This year, Trinity is launching Trinity Playdates, a simple monthly gathering designed to give parents and caregivers of young children a place to connect, build friendships, and spend a little time together.

On select Thursday mornings from 8:00–10:00 a.m., parents and children under age 5 are invited to join us in the Trinity sanctuary for coffee, snacks, conversation, and plenty of space for little ones to play.

Building Community in the Everyday Moments

We know that building meaningful community doesn’t always happen through big events or complicated programs. Sometimes it starts with sitting down over a cup of coffee while your kids play nearby.

That’s the idea behind Trinity Playdates.

We’ve intentionally scheduled these mornings to begin right after school drop-off. If you already have an older child at Trinity, there’s no need to make another trip—just walk over after drop-off, grab some coffee, and stay as long as your morning allows.

And you certainly don’t have to be a current Trinity school family to participate. Trinity Playdates are open to parents, grandparents, caregivers, friends, and neighbors with children under age 5.

There’s no agenda and no expectation that you stay for the entire two hours. Come at 8:00. Come at 9:15. Stay for twenty minutes or stay all morning.

The goal is simply to create space for relationships to grow.

Parenting young children can be wonderful and it can also make finding time to connect with other adults surprisingly difficult. We hope Trinity Playdates can become one small place where families know they are welcome, children have room to play, and parents have an opportunity to get to know one another.
