Advent 2025- Coming Home For Christmas
The book of Isaiah was written during one of Israel’s most difficult seasons. The nation was divided, their trust misplaced, and exile loomed on the horizon. Yet through Isaiah, God spoke words of both warning and deep hope. He promises that one day He Himself would come to bring His people home.
That promise was fulfilled in Jesus, Immanuel, “God with us.” Born as the child long foretold, He is the Prince of Peace who rescues, restores, and welcomes us into the safety of His love.
This Advent, we prepare our hearts through the theme “Coming Home for Christmas.” As we wait and worship, we remember that Jesus is the One who ends our exile. In Him, the lost are found, the weary find rest, and we discover that our true home is in His presence, now and forever.
