Advent 2026: The Word Who Breaks the Silence

A Season of Waiting, Promise, and Hope

There are moments when the world seems filled with noise, yet our hearts long to hear something meaningful. Words of comfort. Words of peace. Words of hope.

Advent reminds us that into a world waiting for redemption, God speaks.

And His Word changes everything.

This Advent, Trinity Lutheran Church and School invites you to join us as we explore The Word Who Breaks the Silence, a season of reflection, worship, and preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ.

God's Promises Are Never Silent

Throughout Scripture, God's people waited for the fulfillment of His promises. Through generations of uncertainty, struggle, and longing, God continued to speak through His prophets.

Then, in the fullness of time, the promised Savior came.

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

Advent invites us to remember that God's promises are trustworthy, His presence is certain, and His grace has come to us in Jesus.

Worship With Us This Advent

Throughout the season, we invite you to gather with the Trinity family in worship, prayer, and reflection.

Advent Vespers
December 3, 10, and 17 at 6:30 PM

These midweek services provide an opportunity to step away from the busyness of December and center our hearts on Christ.

Bringing Advent Home

Faith formation doesn't happen only on Sunday mornings. It happens around dinner tables, in bedtime prayers, through family conversations, and in the simple moments of everyday life.

This year, Trinity is sharing Advent resources for households of all ages and stages, including family devotionals, Advent wreath activities, and a countdown of God's promises.

We encourage families to begin with three simple practices:

  • Share: Talk about your day, your joys, and your challenges.

  • Talk: Read a short Scripture passage and reflect on God's promises.

  • Pray: Pray for one another and the people in your community.

Come and Prepare With Us

Whether Advent is a familiar tradition or something you're exploring for the first time, there is a place for you at Trinity. As we wait, prepare, and celebrate, may we hear again the Word who breaks the silence: Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Join us this Advent as we discover the hope of God's promises fulfilled.
