6th Annual
Bringing In The Harvest Auction
The date for our 2006 "Bringing in the
Harvest" Auction is set for Saturday,
November 11th at Lutheran High School's Parker Campus
(same location as last year). Make plans to attend this exciting
event which raises funds to support our school ministry. There
are so many ways to get involved, the success in the past years
is entirely due to the support of so many Church and School
families.
How can you help? You can begin by simply keeping
your eyes open for auction items as you enjoy your summer vacations.
Perhaps a neighbor has a special talent or artistic flair. During
a summer Bar-b-que, why not ask if they'd be willing to donate
a sample of their work? If you run across some unique jewelry
at bargain prices while visiting family in New Mexico, consider
purchasing an item to donate to the auction. Imagine the possibilies!
Interested in getting involved with
planning the event?
Please contact us
if you're interested in helping out with any of the following
committees:
Acquisitions
Finance
Check-in/out
Food
Decorations
Publicity
Logistics
We have many of our "experienced"
volunteers returning to chair some of these committees, but
part of the fun in working this event is getting to know and
work with new volunteers. I hope you can join us.

Have an item to donate?
No item is too large or too small! However, we do ask that the
item be in good condition.
Complete the
form
below with all of the required information. Please specify
the date it will be deliveredor shipped to the school/church.
Someone will contact you soon concerning delivery instructions.
If you have friends, business contacts, or
family who might want to donate, print the attached Contact
Letter, put your name and phone number on the lines, and take
or mail this to your contact. This will provide them with information
about Trinity Lutheran School to help them in making a decision
to donate.
Asking people for a donation is easier than
you think. If they say “yes”, you have gained one
more item to assist in educating a child.
All donations are tax-deductible. A tax receipt
will be mailed immediately following the auction in November.
Please read through the Idea List if you are
unsure what kinds of things we accept. If you still have questions,
feel free to contact
us.
